My story
Starting with silly haunted house stories and fanfiction in my teens, storytelling has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I carried that passion into college, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English from Oakland City University in 2011.
Since then, I have worked as a catalog copywriter, paralegal, and currently as a court reporter. Years spent in law offices and courtrooms have shown me how documents can alter the course of people's lives. That fascination has found its way into my fiction, where forgotten letters, hidden records, and buried secrets often change lives as much as the people who write them.
I write atmospheric Southern historical fiction where romance, mystery, and psychological suspense intertwine.
When I’m not writing, I'm usually planning my next trip in search of historic towns, Civil War forts, cemeteries, or ruins. I live in Southern Indiana with my husband, two sons, four dogs, and turtle.

My Work

Violets Always Come Back
For four years, Charlotte Redman believed Eli Crowe had abandoned her for someone else. The night before her wedding, she finds their wartime love letters hidden in her fiancé's trunk, buried beneath Gestapo papers bearing his face and a name she'd never heard.
Now she's racing back to the man she never stopped loving, carrying proof of who her fiancé really is. And he knows exactly what she took.

When the Clock Strikes Nine
After a devastating courtroom defeat leaves solicitor Haytham Rutherford questioning everything, his partner Emmett Davenport persuades him to escape to a secluded island inn off the South Carolina coast just as a hurricane rolls ashore.
By morning, a prominent judge is dead, everyone has a motive, and every witness has a different story. As suspicion falls on the victim’s young wife, Haytham discovers that nothing—not the victim, the crime, or even what the guests believe they’ve witnessed—is quite what it seems.
